How to upload Supporting information

There are 3 possible ways to add supporting information to an appraisal:

1. Via each Appraisal Input section

2. Via the summary of supporting info page

3. Via the appraisal overview page

You can also upload supporting information from your mobile view/log. Please see the FAQ for 'Uploading Supporting information via mobile'.

1. Add Supporting information via the Appraisal Input sections

  • Click on section 1 'Appraisal Inputs'
  • You’re able to upload documents to almost every section within the Appraisal Inputs including the ‘CPD,QIA & feedback’
  • Within the Appraisal Input sections where you can upload documents, you will have the following button ‘Add document’ at the bottom of each section.
  • Once you click on 'add document', ensure the ‘Section’, ‘Type of activity’ and ‘Title of activity’ have been added.

  • Click 'Choose File' to upload the document needed or check ‘Link to a website’ to add a URL
  • The confirmation box must be ticked in order to save the supporting document
  • Once done, click the ‘Save’ button. If you want to quickly add more supporting information, click on ‘Save and add another’

2. Uploading Supporting Information via the Summary of supporting info section

This section will include a summary of all supporting information you have uploaded to that appraisal with an option to add more.

  • From within the Appraisal Inputs section, you will also be able to view the ‘Summary of supporting info’
  • You will be able view the supporting information already added with an option to add further documents if needed.

3. Uploading Supporting Information via the Overview page

Note that the ‘Section’ field will not be populated when adding documents from the Overview page. You will need to enter all fields including the mandatory fields marked with a *

  • Click on the ‘Overview’ page
  • Click on ‘Add document’ which will take you to the upload documents page. Then follow steps in option 1.
