You may sometimes have scheduled activities that start part way through a Job Planning period. For instance, a temporary duty covering a known absence or a seasonal activity.
Rather than requiring you to start a fresh job plan to evidence these activities, L2P provides the ability to select a start and end time that are different from the Job Planning period.
For example, imagine you have a job plan that runs from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. But you know that from 1 September, you will be doing an additional duty lasting 4 hours per week until the end of January.
Within the Timing section when adding an activity, you can:
- Use the Only part of the time option.
- Determine the start and end dates using the calendar.
- Add the rest of the activity parameters as required.
In the activities section the summary of the PAs and the dates where these changes happen will be visible at the top of the page. You will also see the detail of these partial activities in the Starting Later tab.
NOTE: When you add a start and end date to the activity, this does not carry this forward to the next job plan unlike other Throughout the job plan activities. You need to add the partial activity to the following job plan either throughout or only part of the time again.
