A parallel activity occurs at the same time as another activity you're doing. It doesn't conflict with the other activity as you've indicated you're doing both activities at the same time, but it doesn't count towards your PAs/hours because the other activity is already being counted for.
To add the parallel activity you would need to add a new activity or edit an existing activity, go the the schedule section of the add/edit activity and tick the parallel activity box (or untick it to remove it)
When you select the option for “Parallel activity”, additional options will appear for you to define whether this happens on a different schedule or on an identical schedule to another activity.
If this is always at the same time as another activity, then you can use the drop-down to link the two together.
