Private Practice (also known as Private Professional Services) is a Category of activity you can record on the job planning system where this is enabled by your Organisation. This Category of activity is mostly but not always associated with the Consultant, Specialist and Associate Specialist contract types.
If you wish to reflect your Private Practice in your job plan you should:
- Select to add an activity.
- Select the Private Practice Category
- Most Organisations do not require Type and Activity information against Private Practice, so these selections tend to have a default value.
- You may wish to add further detail into the Description section, but this is not mandatory in most Organisations.
NOTE: Recording Private Practice can help your Employer to have a deeper understanding of your work schedule and availability.
