When adding or editing an activity, there are several filters to narrow down the selection but sometimes, you may feel that the activity needs more clarity.
The Description box in most Organisations is not mandatory. Where it is mandatory to complete the Description for activities, you will not be able to save the activity until this has been added.
Activity descriptions will show on some reports so if the activity selections are not quite right, you’ll still be able to select the most appropriate option and provide additional details in the description. The descriptions are a valuable piece of information that could provide essential data for system maintenance.
